Wales In Bloom Judges Report 2008
As the structure planting over recent years matures this site just gets better.
Good use of appropriate plants for particular areas of the site, along with very high maintenance standards ensures a quality product from the entrance to the newest extended section.
Sustainable planting over the whole site, including some very difficult terrain is supplemented with very good quality floral displays, confined to appropriate areas where their impact is most impressive. The planted areas alongside the stream are particularly attractive and well maintained. The new rock gardens have been formed impressively and with careful plant
selection will further enhance the site.
Conservation is high on the agenda as evident in other awards, and adds further interest to the site.
The quality throughout encourages many of the van owners to provide their own gardens which are also of high quality, and further enhance the general appearance.
Despite other sites raising their standards, Tree Tops continues to provide the very highest standards and is awarded 1st place this year.
Mr J Knight.
